It’s been a long time coming, but during the last two days of February, the first decent snowfall of the 2015-2016 Winter season finally fell on our lodge.
While icicles hang from the rooftops, our solar panels shed the snow with the first rays of direct sunlight.
And our courtyard “shed” the snow with a little help from our shovels.
The new eco-yurts in our campground are hibernating and waiting for warmer weather.
Along with the barbecue grill in our backyard.
Snowshoers and backcountry skiers have already started opening a trail from our lodge up into the Planès valley.
Our neighbor’s burros are opening trails around their shelter.
And Marta is opening trails around the lodge, with a little help from Tossa.
